Qatuan offer a selection of facilities and products that help to create a more holistic environment, both integrated into the landscape and that interacts with its local ecosystem.
Qatuan Spaces
We design and execute green structures (green roof, vertical garden), barbecues, buildings, garages, pergolas, fire pits, internal and external gardens, among other facilities. Energy efficiency and thermal comfort are always considered essential in our projects, in addition to the careful selection of more sustainable materials.
Qatuan Wood
Utilizing wood of controlled origin with an exclusive design and, incorporating stone or concrete, we offer our furniture for residential or commercial use: Adirondack chairs, tables, pallet sofas and sunbeds, among others.
Qatuan Water
Flowforms
True sculptures of water in motion, flowforms create unique and inspiring environments. When circulating in forms that create vortexes, the water is purified and comes to life.
Aquaponics
Food production technique that combines aquaculture and hydroponics. In a closed system, aquaculture water (for example, from tilapia farming) feeds the hydroponic system, where by-products are broken down by nitrifying bacteria into nitrites and then nitrates, which are used by plants as nutrients. The water is then recirculated back to the aquaculture system.
Water reservoirs
A full range of designs and products needed for water storage systems, including conventional mains water and rainwater catchment. We use different standards and materials, with emphasis on ferrocement reservoirs.
Evapotranspiration pit
System for treating water from residential toilets. An impermeable tank, filled with layers of different substrates and a fast-growing vegetation cover (banana, papaya, taiobas) create an anaerobic digestion chamber. Its correct dimensioning allows the effluent to be fully absorbed by the plants.
Wetland systems
Installation of filtering aquatic gardens for water treatment through phytoremediation. Plants, microorganisms and substrates work together to extract, fix and treat pollutants. systems can be applied for the treatment of residential effluents, and even more complex systems on an industrial scale.
